Michael Evanisko
Chairman
Mike joined PARx as Chairman in mid-2012 after successfully creating and growing several businesses over his career. Mike is responsible for helping to set the company’s strategic direction, organizational development, and investor liaison. Having been involved with the pharmaceutical industry for over 35 years, Mike co-founded Adheris and worked full time at the company as Chairman from 2002 to 2008. Mike served on the Board of Directors of Quintiles Transnational Holdings from 2010 to 2016, and on the Board of Directors of IQVIA Holdings (a provider of health information, analytical technologies and clinical research) from 2016 until 2020.
Prior to Adheris, Mike founded and served as the President of Vertex Partners, a strategy consulting firm focused on healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Vertex merged with Braun Consulting and launched a successful IPO in 1999.
Daniel Rubin
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dan became President and CEO at PARx in mid-2012. In his role, Dan is responsible for helping to set the company’s strategic direction while working closely with key clients and strategic partners.
Prior to joining PARx, Dan served as the co-founder and CEO of Adheris, Inc. from the company’s inception in 1993 until 2008 when he became the President of inVentiv Health’s Patient Outcomes division. As President of inVentiv Patient Outcomes, Dan oversaw multiple businesses including: Adheris; The Franklin Group, a business that provides patient assistance and reimbursement case management programs to the pharmaceutical industry; in addition to several other businesses providing prescription-related services.
Robert Bain
EVP, Founder and Chief Commercial Officer
Robert is the co-founder of PARx Solutions, Inc. In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, Robert is responsible for growing our pharmaceutical client roster and for vetting and developing key strategic relationships.
Robert brings 24 years of biopharmaceutical and life sciences experience including Executive Vice President of Business Development with Publicis Healthcare Communication Group and ten years with Bristol-Myers Squibb in various leadership roles. Robert has demonstrated extensive knowledge in starting and building companies servicing biopharmaceutical and healthcare institutions. He was the co-founder of Legends Q&P which was eventually acquired by Publicis. He also co-founded Physicians Research Network and Tetra Laboratory.
Howie Rodenstein
Chief Financial Officer
Howie joined PARx as Chief Financial Officer after more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in both operations and financial management, most recently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Adheris and subsequently inVentiv Patient Outcomes. Howie is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business including financial reporting and forecasting. In addition, Howie works to provide operational guidance for the business.
Prior to his work at Adheris, Howie held several positions including CFO of Wellesley Medical Management, Inc., a $40 million health services company, President of Harte-Hanks Data Technologies, a marketing database company servicing the financial services industry, and Division President of Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing.
Nick Leighton
SVP and Chief Information Officer
Nick joined PARx in January of 2013 and serves as the company’s CIO. Nick is responsible for the development and ongoing operation of the PARx “PASS” system in addition to overseeing the management of all technology for the company.
Nick brings to PARx over 16 years of experience running information technology in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining the company, Nick held the position of SVP and CIO for inVentiv Health’s Patient Outcomes division. In his role at inVentiv, Nick managed the IT operations for multiple business units, including Adheris, The Franklin Group, and inVentiv Medical Management, businesses that were all highly dependent on large scale data processing of confidential health information.
John Doster
Senior Vice President, Operations
John joined PARx in January 2013 and oversees all of the company’s operations in our Louisville and San Jose call centers. John is responsible for all hiring and management of our healthcare professional staff in our call centers, in addition to ensuring that our operations consistently meet and exceed the needs of our prescriber and pharmacy network.
John has broad healthcare experience, working with a large pharmaceutical manufacturer, Sanofi Aventis, for 13 years in addition to running large services companies supporting pharma/biotech manufacturers for the last eight years. Most recently, John has been leading organizations including Rx Crossroads, a division of Omnicare, and The Franklin Group, a division of inVentiv Health, that provide both strategic and operational support services for manufacturers to maximize patient access and product uptake. Key services included prior authorizations, appeals, injection training for patients, co-pay assistance support and indigent patient programs.
Mark Ovaitt
Vice President, Sales
Mark joined PARx in June 2013 as the company’s Vice President of Sales. Mark is responsible for building our pharmaceutical client base, working closely with pharmaceutical brands to identify products that can benefit from PARx’s prior authorization support.
Mark joined PARx after a long tenure as Vice President of Business Development for Publicis Touchpoint Solutions. At Publicis, Mark sold contract sales and clinical teams to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Prior to his employment at Publicis, Mark held various sales management positions with Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, William H. Rorer, Inc., and Kremers – Urban.
